We don't really have a main color for our icon. But if i have to pick one it would probably be red, the hex code for it is #CF0000. It represents lo
ve, energy, power, action, strength, passion, heat, desire, determination, courage, anger, danger, war, warning, rage, impatience, life, health, vigor, and religious fervor. I like the slogan "Quality in everything we do," by Ernst and Young. But if I had to make one for our website I think I would say, Lake Shore by choice, Shorian by heart, would be a good one to use. Honestly, the rendering process isn't that difficult, it's just time consuming. Especially, when it's Payton and I and we are perfectionist. So everything has to look perfect. The selector tool was probably the most helpful for our rendering process, because there was a lot of thing that we needed to move around in order to get things the way we wanted it.
On this picture I used the sharpening tool to make it less blurry then it was. And then I used the saturation tool to brighten the picture and colors. In this picture I used the crop tool to get the sign by itself, and then I used the shadow dial to darken the colors. Then I used the hue slide to bring out the red in the picture. So I used the crop too again so the LS is easier to see. I used the saturation slide to brighten the colors. Then I used the hue slide to bring out the green, because it was really dark.
Our three repurposed items were film negatives, light bulbs, and pizza boxes. The film negatives were transformed into a lit jar capable of lighting up the negatives for fun decorations at night. As for the light bulbs, we were able to make them into a "time capsule" type ornament, a great gift for Christmas. Then the pizza boxes are turned into a cool picture frame good enough for any friend. Our main color for our logo is green and the hex code for it is #00A300, it means: money, growth, fertility, freshness, healing, envy, jealousy, guilt, disorder, life, renewal, balance, harmony (http://www.designbyjoyce.com/color_meanings.html#sthash.TdBPsnro.dpuf). Our tagline will be Forever Safe. Forever Remembered. The rendering process was so hard, with Caitlin and I being such perfectionists it took us forever to get everything the way we wanted it. The tools that helped us the most was the stylists, the crop tool, the gradient tool, and the bucket tool. We were also able to find a purpose for the reflection tool.
